How to care for it?

Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle 30° cycle, inside out. Air dry flat — never tumble dry. Reshape it by hand while still damp. Looked after properly, it ages beautifully instead of wearing out.
Does it keep your head hot in summer?

No — and that's by design. The Classic Cap is unstructured: no stiff card inside. Laid flat, it slouches; on your head, it takes your shape. That's what makes it soft, comfortable, and gives it that worn-in look instead of sitting rigid on your head. If you're after a stiff, domed cap, this isn't it.
Is the fabric thick?

It's a dense yet soft washed cotton, not a stiff, cardboard-like fabric. Authentic faded finish, breathable, lightweight (~85g). It's deliberately soft: if you want stiff and rigid like a sports cap, that's not the vibe here.
